What we are?
«Transforming Russia» – is a non-governmental research institute, which studies the issues of contemporary Russian Federation, its elites, intelligence, deep-state institutions, military and special services.
Our distinguishing feature consists in the wide author’s personal experience, obtained from within the system of Russian elites – where foreign researchers do not and cannot have access.

Why is this important?
Despite ups and downs, Russian statehood is still a member of the UN Security Council, occupies 1/6 of the earth's surface, is the birthplace of a great classical culture, is an energy superpower with colossal natural resources and possesses nuclear weapons. Russian is one of the six official languages of the UN.
